It has launched ahead of Cask Ale Week, which runs from 17 to 27 September, and will be available for three months across all Butcombe managed pubs and selected venues around the UK.
The collaboration brings together Hawkstone’s British farming led positioning with Butcombe’s cask brewing heritage.

Charity support
The beer will also raise money for the Licensed Trade Charity and mental health support service Shout, with £10 from every cask sold donated to the two charities.
The LTC provides financial, practical and wellbeing support to people in hospitality, while Shout offers free 24 hour text support for people experiencing mental health challenges, including farmers.
Butcombe Group chief operating officer Jayson Perfect said: “At Butcombe, we’ve been brewing cask ale for almost five decades, so collaborating on a beer that celebrates the best of British brewing and farming was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.
“Hops & Glory combines quality ingredients, brewing expertise and a shared love of great beer, resulting in a pale ale we’re incredibly proud to pour in pubs across the UK.”
On trade growth
The launch follows a period of activity for both businesses.
The limited edition cask ale was first announced in July. At the time, Butcombe said it expected the Hawkstone collaboration to help drive further listings and rate of sale in the free trade during the second half of the year.
The group recently reported 5.2% like for like sales growth across its managed pubs division for the first half of 2026, while its UK free trade drinks business grew 7% year on year in the four weeks to 1 August.
Hawkstone has also been expanding its presence across hospitality, with Hawkstone Cider recently rolled out across all 178 Five Guys UK restaurants.
Earlier this summer, Marston’s also launched a Hawkstone IPA and beef pie across 498 pubs.
Hawkstone sales director Andy Cross said: “Great beer starts with great ingredients, and Hops & Glory is a fantastic celebration of British farming and brewing from grain to glass.
“Working with Butcombe has brought together two brands that share a passion for quality, provenance and creating beers people genuinely love to drink.”
Hops & Glory has citrus aromas, hints of tropical fruit and a clean finish, according to the brewers.
