Win a menu makeover with our Food Champion
Anyone working in a pub kitchen will be all-too-familar with the concept of 'menu fatigue', but it's easy for customers to get just as fed up with seeing the same old fare served up time and again.
Working with Ben Bartlett, catering development manager for Marstons Pub Company, Moy Park Foodservice and on-line menu planning solution Menu Makers are offering a complete professional menu makeover worth £1000, as well as a luxurious Spa weekend.
To enter the 'New Menu New You' competition, pubs need to log onto the Moy Park Foodservice website using the link on the right, complete the short form with contact details and explain in under 200 words why their pub deserves the makeover.
Ben, the reigning Pub Food Awards HQ Food Champon, said: "I am extremely passionate about the need for refreshing menus on a regular basis - I would recommend at least every six months. If your regulars get bored with your menu, they will go somewhere else and if new customers walk in the door and see a tired menu, they won't come back.
"I will be providing a complete makeover for the winner, which will include a professional consultation report before, during and after the make-over. Moy Park will also provide new printed POS for the food and drink menu.
Moy Park Foodservice marketing manager Matt Godbold said: "The 'New Menu New You' make-over competition is a fantastic opportunity for a publican to review their whole offering back of house through to menus and signage and will give them a real taste of how they can increase profits by refreshing their menu on a regular basis."
