Tiger hunt on for local heroes
Everards Brewery is on the prowl for people who have made positive changes to their communities.
Through its Tiger Best Bitter Support Your Local Hero initiative it will reward unsung local heroes.
Erika Hardy, marketing manager at the brewery, said that pubs are an ideal hunting ground for unearthing heroic achievers.
She said: "Nominees could range from an ambitious volunteer, a passionate charity fundraiser or a relative that has battled through hard times with a courageous attitude."
The winner will be chosen by the public in an online vote on Everards' website, which will run until St George's Day (April 23).
The 'hero' will also be invited to see Tiger being brewed along with 11 friends at the brewery in Leicester.
And whoever nominates the winner will receive a £50 voucher to spend in the Everards' Wine and Brewery shop.
