Faucet Inn Pub Company has bought its 20th venue — Battersea gastropub the Prince of Wales.

The freehold pub was acquired for an undisclosed sum by Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL) on behalf of the firm.

Headed by Stephen Cox, Faucet Inn operates 15 pubs in London and a further four outside of the capital, including sites in Southampton and Kent.

Located on Battersea Bridge Road, The Prince of Wales is a dining-focused pub with a beer garden and four flats on the top floor.

Paul Tallentyre, director of pubs at DCL, said: "We are increasingly executing off-market acquisition strategies for our clients to enable them to get into their desired locations as available properties on the market has dried up.

"The Prince of Wales is a great addition to Faucet Inn's current portfolio and will enable them to strengthen their south-west London presence."
