Booker: new cheese range
Food and drink wholesaler Booker has revamped its cheese category.

All the British cheeses are from award winning creameries with 76% of the range having received accolades such as the Royal Highland Show and the Global Cheese Awards.

All Chef’s Larder and Chef’s Larder Premium products are now hand-selected for age, flavour and texture. Packaging now shows provenance, the name of the creamery, strength guide, farm assurance and any awards won.

The range includes Reece’s Chester Rose, Cornish Country Larder Cornish Brie and Chef’s Larder Premium Brue Valley Farmhouse Mature Cheddar.

“As well as offering outstanding quality, the range is fantastic value for money — 28% lower in price than other wholesalers,” said Stuart Hyslop, sales director – catering. “We are also particularly pleased that all of the cheeses are using milk from British farmers which is helping to provide a sustainable future for dairy farms. The wide choice, low price and quality, makes this range second to none in wholesale and I would encourage any chef or caterer to take a fresh look at Booker.”
