The Hospitality Guild has launched a new web portal providing information for both individuals seeking a job or already working in hospitality, as well as for employers and training providers.

UKSP, the careers website from People 1st, forms the backbone of the new website and all 52,000 current UKSP registered users will be offered a year’s free membership to the Hospitality Guild when they transfer over to the Guild portal – www.hospitalityguild.co.uk.   This will give them access to a range of additional benefits, discounts and information.

The Hospitality Guild’s website will act as a single point of entry for individuals seeking work, training and career development opportunities.  Tools such as careers map, personality test and other resources have all been incorporated in the new site.

For employers, the site will signpost  training solutions from the Guild’s partnership organisations, showcase accredited providers offering excellence in hospitality education and host a wealth of practical resources to support businesses.

Employers are also able to upload their vacancies free of charge.

Suzy Jackson, the Hospitality Guild executive director, said: “We are delighted to announce free Guild membership for hospitality and tourism members of the award-winning UKSP website. This is the ideal way to welcome members into the Guild family and celebrate the launch of our web portal which we believe will revolutionise professional development in the industry.

“Those joining us from UKSP will still have access to the fantastic tools they enjoyed as well as many more tailored to their chosen industry. Free membership to the Guild for the first year will allow individuals to enhance their professional reputation, gain networking opportunities, save money on training products and programmes and more.”
