Eight freehold sites from former pub owner Farlane Property Group are set to go under the hammer at the end of the month at an Allsop auction in London.

Farlane went into administration in 2010, with the company owning 43 pubs at that time. PricewaterhouseCoopers was appointed joint administrators.

The eight properties are closed sites with guide prices ranging from £20,000 to £55,000. The auction will be held at the Park Lane Hotel in Piccadilly on 27 March.

The pubs at auction are:

■ The Golden Fleece in Calder Bridge, Cumbria. Guide price: £25,000 to £35,000.

■ The Pemberton Arms in Cold Hesleden, County Durham (guide: £45,000 to £55,000).

■ The Castle in Distington, Cumbria (guide: £25,000 to £35,000).

A further five pubs will also be available at this auction. These are a mixture of those already let to pubcos, and private properties.
