'Privilege' to be part of Live Your Life Day
The 2015 event raised money for Team Margot, a charity set up by Pub Aid director Yaser Martini in memory of his daughter Margot, who died of leukaemia last year.
Bars, pubs and restaurants across the UK and Europe took part, including Yummy Pubs, Faucet Inn, Belushi’s, Greene King and St Christophers Inns.
Yummy owner Tim Foster said “It’s been an absolute privilege to be part of the awareness campaign. I believe we made a difference and I think Margot might turn out to be one of the most important little girls the world has ever seen thanks to the drive, passion and commitment Yaser and Vicki have to spread their message.”
On Twitter, Glendola Leisure added: “It’s been great to see so many people interested in helping this great cause.”
Team Margot aims to get 4% of the world’s population on the stem cell donor register.
