Geronimo Inns has appointed a new food director.

Jono Jenkins, ex-company director of interactive cookery school L’atelier des Chefs, will oversee Geronimo Inns’ food offering across its 35 sites.

Ed Turner, managing director of Geronimo Inns, said: “We are very excited to have Jono on borad, not only because he gets our pubs and knows what our customers like but he also loves to surprise, which is what Geronimo is all about.”

Jenkins takes over the role from Ray Brown, who held the position for five years.

Jenkins began his career as a chef, working at venues such as River Café, Manicomio and for the Soho House Group before becoming product development chef at Gü Puds, where he was involved with the design and launching of new products.

He then moved on to L’atelier des Chefs to help re-launch the cookery school in the UK.

He stayed with L’atelier des Chefs for three years before joining Geronimo Inns.
