Diageo has extended its existing partnership with Molson Coors, to become the exclusive launch partner on Guinness Golden Ale draught in England & Wales for the next year.

The partnership will give licensees across England and Wales access to Guinness Golden Ale from The Brewers Project and boost visibility of the brand across the UK.

Stephen O’Kelly, Guinness marketing director for Western Europe, said: “Teaming up with Molson Coors presents a unique opportunity to showcase our latest innovation on draught to publicans and customers across England and Wales.”

Martyn Cozens, director of independent on premise at Molson Coors, added: “We continue to work closely with key drinks brands to develop a range that meets the needs of both our customers and consumers and enables us to build long term, win-win relationships in the on premise.”

The premium ale, which is brewed using Guinness yeast, was originally launched in April.
