MA200 finalists revealed
The shortlisted finalists for the MA200 awards for multi-site managed pub companies have been unveiled.
In the Best Food Offer category, Anglian Country Inns, Innventure, Peach Pub Company and Realpubs are on the list.
Best Drinks Offer: Market Town Taverns, Pleisure and Town & City Pub Company. Best Training Scheme: Beds & Bars, Kurnia Group and Peach Pub Company.
Most Impressive Growth: Beds & Bars, Grand Union Group, Loungers, TLC Inns and Town & City Pub Company.
Best New Site: Flying Kiwis, Grand Union Group, Realpubs and Individual Inns.
Best Individual: Jillian Maclean, Drake & Morgan, Michael Kheng, Kurnia Group, Ross Sanders, Urban & Country Leisure and Steve Haslam, TLC Inns.
Best Design: Drake & Morgan, Innventure, Loungers, and Ossett Brewery.
Best Accommodation Offer: Beds & Bars, Bulldog Pub Company and Individual Inns. Best Newcomer: B Lounge, Drake & Morgan and Foundation Inns.
Judging takes place on Wednesday 14 July, the day after the next MA200 seminar at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire.
Morning Advertiser editor The PMA Team said: "For the past three weeks, Morning Advertiser journalists have been touring the country visiting pubs to judge entries for this year's MA200 awards.
"It has been a pleasure — the MA200 club contains the cream of the UK's outstanding licensed retailers.
"There has been a record number of entries in this year's awards and the team has clocked up thousands of miles.
"Unusually for an awards process, standards are so high at the very top tier in several categories that we decided to shortlist as many as five companies where we feel it is appropriate."
There are a few places remaining for the MA200 business seminar on 13 July at Whittlebury Hall.
