Full-year sales at Snug Bars, the up-market bar operator led by Giles Fry, are set to top £2.2m an increase of 19.5% on the previous year.

The group, which opened its sixth site in High Wycombe this week, said that like-for-like sales climbed 15.3% during the year.
The new opening in High Wycombe was at the former Glass House site in the town’s Crown Lane and is the group’s first with Greene King.
The group, which opened its fifth Enterprise Inns leasehold, The Snug, in October, in Godalming, Surrey, said its belief was that there is still a strong demand in the High Street for a quality-led offering.
The company, which was founded in 2005, also operates two sites in Cambridge, one in Hertford and one in St Albans. The outlets specialise in homemade burgers, cocktails, premium beers, spirits and New World wine.
