Video: Heineken launches James Bond TV ad ahead of Skyfall release
The ad forms part of the brewer's sponsorship of the 23rd Bond film, Skyfall, which will be released in October.
Eagle eyed fans will spot props from previous bond films in the ads, such as the Fabergé egg used in Octopussy and the Spectre ring from Dr. No. It will be backed with an interactive online campaign, which the brewer said begins “exactly where the adventure in the TV ad leaves off”.
For the first time the beer will also be drunk by Bond in the films, although the film makers are at pains to point out that it doesn't entirely replace his trademark martinis.
