Coca-Cola Enterprises [CCE] has partnered with e-learning specialists CPL Online to introduce a new animated online training programme to help licensees deliver the perfect soft drinks serve and boost sales.

The animated interactive course is hosted at​ and is available to all CCE customers, allowing licensees to enter their own CCE product range before directing them  to the relevant training pages.

The ‘perfect serve’ training module focuses on: the serve process, glassware and presentation, finding the best product range for your business, routine and cleaning processes, role playing customer interaction and tips on how to reduce wastage to save costs.

Wes McKenna, sales director – Cold, at CCE, said: “Soft drinks represent a huge opportunity for licensees and perform only behind beer and spirits in the on-trade in terms of wet sales. However, they are often not given the same focus by bar staff that other drinks categories are.  By helping to ensure that their customers get the perfect soft drinks serve every time, pub and bar owners will increase the chances of repeat custom.

The course will be supported with printed collateral including back-of-house posters to reinforce perfect serve messaging and will be followed by a ‘second serve’ module later on in the year.
