Harvester, the Mitchells & Butlers-owned chain, has announced the launch of a new children's menu for spring.

The new children's menu features a range of new dishes as well as miniature interpretations of full-sized mains, designed to make children feel 'grown up' by dining alongside their parents.

Dishes available include mini sausage whirls, omelette with vegetable skewers, 'Famous' ribs and 'Can Do' chicken.

Activity pack

All children's meals will be served with an activity pack of a range of puzzles, games, crayons and sunflower seeds to plant at home.

Children will also now be able to 'build their own' burgers and chicken wraps, choosing from a range of toppings to suit their tastes.

The children's dessert menu features dishes such as banana custard, tutti frutti salad and 'build-your-own' chocolate cookie pizzas.

Craft keg festival

Last month, Mitchells & Butlers announced the launch of a new craft keg festival, designed to showcase British breweries across its Castle Pubs portfolio.

The festival will take place from 3 April to 26 June, with pubs featuring a rotating range of craft beers from various brewers including BrewDog and Meantime.

The company also recently launched contactless payments across 1,700 sites, which it said was part of an ongoing investment in digital technology, as well as plans to recruit in excess of 2,000 apprentices.
