Possibly one of the simplest, yet most impressive, cocktails to make. The Negroni is hot right now.

Make a Negroni:

Glass: Rocks

  • 25ml London dry gin (here we use Tanqueray)
  • 25ml Campari
  • 25ml Sweet red vermouth

Garnish: Orange slice
Method: Starting with the gin, layer the ingredients in the glass over ice. Stir gently with a bar spoon to blend together. Garnish with the orange slice.

  • 100-200ml tonic

Garnish: A sprig of basil
Method: Put ice cubes in the glass with the grapefruit. Pour over the gin. Top with tonic and add the basil garnish to freshen up a traditional G&T with a citrusy and herbaceous twist.

Brockmans Blackberry Sling_Gin

Brockmans Blackberry Sling
Glass: Highball

  • 50ml Brockmans gin
  • 50ml lime juice
  • 25ml sugar syrup
  • Soda water
  • 10 Fresh blackberries
  • Rosemary sprigs

Method: With an eye on the autumn, this is a signature serve from Brockmanns, which has blackberries in its botanical bill. Muddle the blackberries and a sprig of rosemary in the glass. Remove the rosemary and add the gin, lime juice and sugar. Stir, then add ice and top with soda. Garnish with more blackberries and a fresh sprig of rosemary.
