Sky is offering its licensed trade customers the chance to set up a TV advert with an advertising campaign made exclusively for their business, for free.

The advert will air on a selection of Sky’s AdSmart channels in March to help drive footfall and capitalise on the unmissable sporting line-up shown on Sky Sports.

Sky Business director of marketing Tracy Harrison said: “Imagine if you had Sky’s creative team at your disposal to make a TV advert promoting your pub and creating a campaign that targets audiences in your local postcode area?”

A benefit of broadcasting with AdSmart is that different adverts can be shown to various households watching the same programme.

This means pubs can advertise on national channels but to relevant audiences in their local postcode area, giving a more local and targeted approach.

One click away

Harrison continued: “That’s exactly what we are offering one lucky Sky Business customer – along with thousands of pounds’ worth of free, targeted advertising space across Sky’s channels – all of which has been designed to help drive footfall.

“The opportunity to showcase all that is good and great about their business to their local community and beyond is just one click away.”

Sky will be running a competition throughout January. To enter, Sky customers just need to register by visiting www.MySkySports.com and request a free point-of-sale pack.

The winning venue will be chosen at random and notified by 7 February. Sky’s creative team will then be in touch to organise logistics around shooting the winner’s unique TV advert.
