This summer sees the start of a new campaign to find London's Best Loved Local. If you think your venue's got what it takes, join in and get your regulars voting. We want to know why you're the heart of the community to your crowd.

'London's Best Loved Local 2008' is an exciting initiative in association with Stella Artois.

It recognises that many pubs and bars are a pillar of their community and make a valuable contribution to local life.

'London's Best Loved Local 2008' is open to stockists and non-stockists of Stella Artois in all 32 London boroughs.

To register your venue call 0800 013 7982 and request your free POS elements. These include posters, beer mats, badges, table talkers, menu inserts and staff T-shirts.

Encourage your regulars to vote by telling us why they love their local. They can vote online at www.loveyourlocal.co.uk or by using the freepost postcards available in participating venues. The closing date for entries is 26th September 2008.

After this date, short listed venues will be visited by a panel of judges who will select one winner and three runners-up.

What could you win?

You could win a £5K cash bursary to make your local even lovelier plus a £2K landlord holiday allowance and £1.5K for a staff event.

You will also receive industry-wide recognition for your community work and enjoy an InBev UK-funded event at your venue to celebrate the award.

Three runners-up will each receive £1.5K for their venues, a £2K landlord holiday allowance and £1.5K for a staff event.

The winner and runners-up will also benefit from national and regional coverage in consumer and trade press titles including free profiling in a leading London paper.
