Whitbread’s Brewers Fayre has teamed up with Warner Bros character Scooby-Doo to entertain children.

The cartoon dog and famous friend including Shaggy, Velma, Fred and Daphne will be a familiar sight in the brand’s 147 sites as part of Whitbread’s ongoing focus on family value and fun. Diners will benefit from Scooby-Doo-themed activity packs, party packs and POS.

More than 70 Brewers Fayre sites house a Fun Factory for children.

Chris Lewis, head of marketing at Brewers Fayre said: "We’re thrilled to have teamed up with the ever-endearing Scooby-Doo here at Brewers Fayre. Each month, we welcome hundreds of thousands of children to our restaurants, and appreciate that parent’s best dining experiences are when their little ones are happy and entertained.

"Offering entertainment in the form of activity and party packs is not a new concept for us, but we feel that by teaming up with Warner Bros and the incredibly popular Scooby-Doo, we can truly deliver a fun and enjoyable experience for adults and children-alike."

Paul Bufton, general manager of Warner Bros Consumer Products UK, added; "We’re very excited to be working with Brewers Fayre and love how the characters are being integrated into the brand’s restaurants across the country. The Scooby-Doo franchise prides itself on having a wide cross-generational appeal; it’s a true family brand, which is a quality that Brewers Fayre shares. It feels like a very natural partnership and one we’re excited to watch unfold."
