The Exeter office of agent Christie & Co has been appointed to handle the sale of Frognel Hall Hotel, a 27-bedroom Victorian mansion house hotel in Higher Woodfield Road, Torquay, Devon. The current proprietors have operated the hotel for eight years but now wish to enter into a new business venture with their family. Christie & Co is seeking £795,000 for the freehold interest. Frognel Hall Hotel is situated in a tranquil corner of Torquay, within easy reach of the town centre, harbour and beaches. The property is Grade-II listed and was built as a privateresidence in around 1840. The owners have taken care to preserve many of the original Victorian features whilst maintaining excellent modern-day standards with a continuing programme of investment. Christie & Co says the hotel has an excellent restaurant and received a Bay Award for healthy eating.
