The Licensed Trade Charity paid tribute to the work by the outgoing teams of the former SLV and LVNH at its annual presentation lunch in London last month.

The lunch ­ at the Savoy Hotel in London ­ was held on 13 April and was attended by 220 members and supporters from the trade.

LTC chairman Eric Morgan presented illuminated addresses to the following:

Maureen Batty ­ immediate past governor, Society of Licensed Victuallers;

Moreen and Ray Scarbrow ­ Ray was immediate past chairman, Licensed Victuallers National Homes;

Gloria McArdle ­ immediate past chairman SLV regional co-ordinating committee;

Paul Davies ­ immediate past president, SLV

Pam Savage, immediate past chairman of the LVNH central fundraising committee also received an illuminated address, but unfortunately could not attend the event due to ill health.

Maureen Batty presented the final illuminated address to Ian Inder in recognition of his years of service as a trustee for the SLV.

Guests attended a pre-lunch champagne, spirit & lager reception followed by a three-course lunch and wine. Music was provided during lunch by Roger Limb.
