Hundreds of exhibitors from companies of all shapes and sizes will be at the Restaurant Show with new product launches and heaps of advice.

For the technically-minded, American Express will exhibit a product designed to assist small to medium-sized businesses with everyday cost savings and help improve financial control.

Knife Wizard will be launching IO Shen mastergrade knives with Tai Tang handles designed to improve balance and stability.

The additive-free and "distinctly different" Dorset farm-made Purbeck Ice Cream and Sorbets, Valentine's new Tempura fryer and Pie's new range of miniature 100g pies will all add sparkle to the show.

Novelty-seekers will be able to visit Long Range Systems, presenting its new patented pizza-shaped guest pager.

Food from Britain (FFB), the market development consultancy that helps build business for food and drink producers, will have a stand at the Restaurant Show for the first time. FFB is teaming up with New Covent Garden Market to offer visitors a flavour of its work and demonstrate benefits of regional sourcing.

Chef Paul Merrett will demonstrate the diversity and availability of British regional produce through a programme of cookery demonstrations and tastings, Jean-Christophe Novelli will put in an appearance, and as a special treat, oysters and English sparkling wine will be available on the stand for visitors to try.

Ex-chef Nigel Crane's Essential Cuisine will be showing its brand new turkey stock at the Restaurant Show. The company started in 1995, after Nigel decided to leave the kitchen for manufacturing when he was unable to find a quality manufactured stock meeting all his requirements. He uses his experience from working with Anton Mosimann at the Michelin-starred Dorchester Hotel to create a wide range of stocks, jus and glacés. Nigel says that all his stocks are prepared just as chefs would prepare kitchen-made stock. Essential Cuisine's new turkey stock costs £12.50 for an 800g tub, which makes 40 litres of stock.
