Dallaglio to visit thousands of pubs
Former England rugby captain Lawrence Dallaglio is set to make an appearance at thousands of pubs during the Six Nations tournament.
Greene King IPA is distributing thousands of life-size cut-outs of its brand ambassador Dallaglio as part of a rugby themed promotional kit. The kit also includes a number of specially designed Six Nations commemorative glasses for customer give-aways.
The Six Nations gets underway this Saturday and Greene King is also sponsoring talkSPORT radio's weekly rugby show "Rucking all over the World".
"There is always massive demand for Greene King IPA around the time of big sporting events, particularly rugby ones, so pubs who want to take advantage should get their orders in quickly," said Greene King Brewing Company marketing director Fiona Hope.
"The Six Nations is one of the highlights of the UK sporting calendar and presents a huge opportunity to help reignite the pub trade.
"Our support will help licensees to encourage customers back through the door, and Greene King IPA will keep them there, so the pub's the winner whichever way the match goes."
