Carlsberg hosts Eve-ents this month
Carlsberg is further boosting the fashion credentials of its female brand Eve by hosting two fashion swap events at bars in Manchester and Liverpool this month.
At both events, to be held in Dukes 92 bar in Manchester next week and PanAm in
Liverpool on 23 September, brand ambassador Louise Redknapp will appear along with a celebrity stylist.
Bespoke Eve cupcakes will be served alongside the passion fruit and lychee-flavoured beers as the brewer looks to drive trial and awareness of the brand among its target female audience.
Carlsberg also plans to create buzz ahead of the events by holding "Swap Clock Challenges" in both city centres, where shoppers can win a new outfit.
Eve brand ambassadors will be giving out money-off vouchers for bottles of Eve from a giant Eve-branded stand situated in St Ann's Square in Manchester and at the Liverpool One shopping and leisure complex.
"What better way to introduce the ladies of Manchester and Liverpool to the refreshing taste of Eve than with a fashion event?" said director of brands and insight Paul Davies.
"The cities are two of the UK's fashion-loving hotspots, so they were a natural choice when it came to host these fantastic events."
The events form part of the £3m investment in the brand this year by Carlsberg, which said two-thirds of the budget would be spent on activities in bars and pubs as it aims to get the brand listed in 5,500 pubs by the end of the year.
