Diageo has launched a new marketing campaign for its Gordon's gin brand, under the banner Shall We G&T Started?

The support, including TV, theatre, digital, outdoor and radio activity, is the biggest campaign the brand has produced in recent years and aims to inspire consumers to drink Gordon's as they start their evening.

The TV coverage will see Philip Glenister and Emilia Fox chatting as they enjoy a Gordon's and tonic at the start of their evening.

Over the course of the campaign, Gordon's gin will also partner with the Ambassador Theatre Group to get the brand noticed at theatres across the country.

Alex Smith, marketing manager for Gordon's at Diageo GB, said: "We strongly believe that Gordon's is the brand to revitalise, and continue driving growth into, the gin category.

"A British stalwart, Gordon's is ideally placed to remind consumers just how great a perfect G&T can be to get your evening off to a great start.

"With the significant investment behind our latest campaign, we hope to really bring to life the sensuous experience of a perfect G&T and the TV element will emphasise that as we watch our actors, Philip and Emilia, enjoying this classic serve at the start of their evening.

"We expect to see a marked difference in sales across the busy August to December period, truly bringing G&T back into fashion as the best possible start to the evening."
