A special edition 300ml bottle of Pepsi featuring David Beckham will be launched next month to cash in on football-mania around Euro 2004. Beckham appears on the bottle alongside four other soccer stars who feature in the current gladiator Pepsi ads. Richard Collins, director of brand marketing at Britvic, which owns the brand, said: "Pepsi is the leading cola in the on-trade and this special edition bottle will be the must-have purchase for cola drinkers as Euro 2004 fever grips the nation." Yoko's past on Beck's label Yoko Ono has become the latest famous face to create a limited edition label design for Beck's lager. The design, called Warning, shows a picture of herself as a war child and her memories of war. The edition is restricted to 1,000 bottles. Other stars who have designed labels for Beck's bottles include British artists Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst. Disaronno backs promising US drama First Drinks brands is sponsoring US drama Las Vegas to promote Disaronno, its Amaretto liqueur brand, in a "seven-figure" deal. Disaronno will appear on credits for the programme, which follows a security team maintaining one of Las Vegas' largest resorts and casinos Las Vegas became the most watched new drama series among 18 to 49-year-olds in the US this season. First Drinks hopes the success will be mirrored here, and the ads will raise the profile of the brand in the key summer period. Brand manager Andy Corris said: "The sponsorship of Las Vegas ties in perfectly with the glamorous and stylish qualities associated with Disaronno. The 22-week sponsorship starts this month. E&J pumps up range with three varietals Three new varietals have been added to Ernest & Julio's premium Coastal Vineyards range to tap into the rising market for higher-priced wines. A Syrah, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris join the existing Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon in the Coastal Vineyards series, aimed at discerning but open-minded and "aspirational" wine drinkers. The recommended retail price for all varietals is £9.99. Brand manager Arthur Miller said: "UK customers are trading up to higher priced wines more than ever before. In fact, sales of wines costing £8 and over are currently increasing at 33.3%.
