Arduenna Bear Salami
Arduenna has launched new bear meat salami.
The Transylvanian producer launched the speciality salami alongside a range of cheeses and other cured meats at the Speciality and Fine Food Fair, which was held at the London Olympia from 6-8 October.
Dr Villo Lelkes, who worked as a policy officer for the European Commission, said: “Transylvania is one of the last untouched wildernesses of Europe and we want to keep alive their ancient crafts, production methods, tradition and local knowledge.
“Our bear salami is a real speciality and attracting a lot of interest. Ethically sourced, it is a real Transylvanian speciality and best served sliced on a charcuterie board and eaten either on its own or with pickles.”
