Gourmet Africa has launched a new range of cooking sauces based on traditional African recipes.
The four-product range features Bobotie curry (South Africa), Durban curry (South Africa), Cape Malay curry (South African Cape) and Dora Wat (Ethiopia) variants and is aimed at the pub and casual dining sector.
Paul Rostand, of Gourmet Africa, said: “We’ve seen Indian, Thai, Moroccan and South American cuisines widely capture the out of home markets alongside consumer imagination and now Gourmet Africa provides chefs with the opportunity to offer the vibrant and exotic taste of the African continent, enabling them to drive further innovation into their menus.”
The entire range is gluten-free and comes in 1 litre cartons with an ambient shelf life of 18 Months.
