Gluten-free Italian food tops new food products in pictures

Chefs have realised the potential downfalls of ignoring the increasing demand from consumers for gluten-free products, according to the firm.
The company’s range, which consists of two tomato pasta sauces, two pesto sauces, four pastas and three gnocchi products, has been produced by food manufacturers Pasta Lensi and Gruppo Fini.
Owner and gluten-free specialist Nigel Singh said: “I’m not just proud that we won this award, I’m proud that we are spreading the word beyond supermarkets that gluten-free foods can be just as good as their gluten-containing equivalents.”
The firm now plans to increase its presence in the gluten-free sector in the foodservice.
