Reduced salt ‘salt’
Sodium levels can be reduced using Salt of the Earth’s all-natural Umamix ingredient, according to the firm.
The salt reduction solution has been designed to help reduce the amount of salt in all food and liquids (gravies, stocks and sauces) by up to 45%, it said.
Umamix is made from high-quality sea salt and vegetable extracts, which are made from umami-rich vegetable extracts.
The product is highly soluble, vegan, kosher and contains no artificial ingredients or MSG, it said.
